Kitchen Manager

Responsibilities
The kitchen manager is responsible for all aspects of the restaurant’s kitchen operations including:

  • Employee selection, development, administration and motivation
  • Maintaining Dos Coyotes’ food quality; adherence to ingredient specifications and recipes
  • Ordering and receiving of product
  • Maintaining proper inventory levels, product rotation and shelf life
  • Controlling waste and other kitchen-related cost
  • Overseeing food preparation and supervising the display cooking line
  • Working with the corporate chef to develop specials and salsas

Qualifications
An applicant should have at least eight years of kitchen experience, some in a high volume, fast-paced environment, and at least two in a kitchen management position. He or she must have a passion for food, strong communication skills, a working knowledge of Spanish, and a solid understanding of food and labor costs.
